Anyone use a Mac? As their main computer, or otherwise? I grew up on Macs (2G to be exact) and have personally owned 3 Mac laptops, including my current MacBook. My boyfriend is a PC, and we argue all the time about which is better. I think there is no question, when it comes to graphics/games/photoshopish stuff, Mac wins hands down! But, like the Mac commercials say, "If you want something to do your taxes on, use a PC!" BTW, fabulous commercials for Mac! I absolutely love every one of them, and constantly look forward to a new one! Anyway, I love my Mac, except for one of the worst downsides: Instant messengers versions are always crap. Take YIM for Mac, for example. I can't photo share, I can't send mass messages, and my webcam is very very buggy on it. Speaking of which, on the Mac version of Live (MSN/Windows) Messenger, I don't even have the option to use my webcam! I'm currently using the Mac's Safari browser, although my mom (also on a Mac) uses Firefox. I almost never, never find a website that I can't access with Safari. Although, some websites' pic uploaders aren't compatible with Safari, but I'd rather update my pics 1 at a time than switch browsers. I also play World of Warcraft on my Mac, and it's very nice, in terms of graphics and the fact that the window is just that, a window, not full screen, unlike on PC. This comes in handy when you are talking to your British friends on messenger. LOL And of course, the virus thing is a definite bonus. I know there ARE viruses for Mac, but they are so hard to come by, and I've never had one in my 23 years of using a Mac. I don't know what the status is in England, but in the States, Mac is definitely starting win over some big fans! Especially college students (it's the most bought/used laptop for such people.) Not to say there aren't die hard PC fans out there, I'm not ignorant/blind.
Well, I've babbled on enough, I think... What's your opinion? Yeah! You!
