Hail Brothers & Sister's! Finally SE have given us the info on the World Transfer Service it can be found here: eu.finalfantasyxiv.com/lodestone/topics/detail/718598d11a12e326d405a76d03845e5978e37811Now I want to hear everyones opinion on the matter before we go ahead and make a decission. The free transfer is for a limited time only so we need to finish up all business on Cerberus if we move, our retainers will be deleted and also the FC will be dissolved before we move how do you feel about this? Let me know and we can decide what we are going to do! I am somewhat apprihensive now we are settled only because of what happened on XI the move to Fairy was pretty much the death of the shell IMO. But also I would like to go to a JP server for quieter peak times and less Warcraft players as I assume most of the JP guys played XI so no more "Giz A Rez" Anyway let me know what you think cheers!

To be honest, from what I heard there is always gunna be WoW logic players, as WoW has set a new (but crap) standard in MMO.
For me I am happy to move over to another world if the ls is welcome, and because it is done out of game means that Frivan can also do it.
However it does seem like a load of hassle with the FC re-enrollment, we will have to start again from bottom, items aren't a problem we can hoard them for the transfer. But how easy will it be to rank up at our current progress? Is it worth it?
Most lag and login issues have been addressed (apart from physical PC specs) and as we established we are better off as a LS. Yeah we may have to rely on a few people here and there.
I personally think at this stage, its not needed, Cerberus isn't a crowded world, (just the EU/NA lobby server is a bit busy sometimes)
Again, I will go with the flow, bit won't want to transfer or setup transfer until later, as in like 19-20th(if it can take a couple of days to complete, I don't want my week off to be twiddling thumbs. Lol.

Moving servers doesn't seem to be beneficial at this time, especially to one that is designed for the Japanese player base, It may be quieter during peak rates (server load wise), but when it comes to Duty finder, when we do want to just grind a dungeon or two, or other things like it, when LS members aren't always available, trying to find a party will be harder on quieter servers. (I waited just over 1 hour the other day on current "busy" servers)
I am putting money that a lot of other players will jump ship, and as the game goes into full paid service, we will really see how many people stick around, as the game goes full paid service before the 2.1 changes are due.
I read somewhere that WoW managed to get 1Million subs in its first paid month, compared to the 2Million "boxes" they shifted, which means people play the game for the first month and then when they have to commit, they bugger off to the next big thing or to the next cheapest or free MMO.
With that being said, of course if the Linkshell all want to move, then I am willing to move, I just think it will be more a hindrance then a help in the long run.

Staying put seems like the logical step to take here, I have talked to Eli about it and me and Vik have also discussed it thoroughly.
A move now I think will be disruptive also Pips point about the Duty Finder is a valid one. The best corse of action is to let the dust settle and see how things are another six months down the line. Thank you for your opinions looks like Cerberus will be the official home of the Sons Of Odin!
Forever walk in the light of the crystal!
