I just thought I may as well as the question. My all time fave has to be FFVII I have also just started a whole new game although I have already made a perfect file, that is how cool it is!
I have all the re-released Final Fantasy Games for the PlayStation! I am also gunna buy FF I & II for the GBA.
I also have FF Tactics Advance which kicks butt.
but nothing comes close to FFVII and NO, I don't like it just coz of Tifa. LOL ;D
EDIT : - I also understand that the question doesn't make that much sense. LOL
It basically asks:
Which is your fave FF game, or if you haven't played the game which one will you most likley want to play.

yey! love final fantasy7! ;D I got some artwork of the turks printed off, they are sooo cool! yet not even they are tough enough to stand up to sephiroth! he killed the original shinra president and the turk leader without breaking a sweat right? basically this game has the coolest bad guy in the history of games.. easily!
And the story is just awesome.. ok i better stop now, i can't cover all the brilliant points of this game without taking all night at least. but don't forget all the times it got voted best game of all time!
Who the smeg here has actually played ff11? lol
p.s. i've never been fortunate enough to play ff tactics, is it better than vandal hearts? (if you've played that!) I might do my best to find a copy (maybe off ebay or something)
Some people will tell you the graphics aren't good enough these days but what's more important gameplay and story... or graphics? FFVII will always be 10/10.
of course if you don't like turn based games much, you probably won't like these either.

I haven't played Vandal Hearts wo i won't know. LOL
Final Fantasy Tactics only got released in Japan and america for PS, but if you got a GBA or a GBA emulator you should be fine.
The game is slow to start off with but it is really cool when you get going.
FFVII is the greatest RPG of all time! And now that the sequel is a CG Movie, that will be getting a DVD release no cinema showing over in Japan we can only hope it will come out over here too.

I'm sure we'll see this sequel cg movie eventually one way or another.(I'll just get a portable dvd player which can play any dvd and play the american version on that.. easy right? ;D) but will it be made by the same team who made the astronomical game? that would be nice, although unlikely i guess. i'll still watch it anyway though!

I dunno if it is made by the same team, but it is written by the same team.
It looks too good to be true.

Without a doubt Final Fantasy 7, Dukes fault!
but it is so cool! Also I have played Final Fantasy XI, but it is a bit annoying, you need to buy online credits, not very good if you play like all the time.

I'm going say 7 because even though I have not really played it as I don't own it. I tried to play with the expert helping (Rich aka Duke) and I enjoyed it. Plus if I don't say 7 I be frowned upon for life.

NONE OF THEM!!!
Never liked Final Fantasy, I played FF7 once, it bored me...I guess I just don't have the patience. Plus I am not a fan of that type of game, more of a FPS man myself!

It's got a lot in common with a superb book. FPshotters are different things altogether (obviously) but I like to play a bit of them too! wicked fun! but best in multiplayer in my opinion. so if you're on your own... that's where the final fantasy games come in! And if the sequel is written by the same team, that's definately great news! 'cause now i can be more optimistic about being in for a great story

Ben do yourself a favour and sit down and play FF7 for at least a few hours. If you like any games that have depth to thieir storyline and gameplay then you will love this game once you get to know it. The game is just so long and full of mini puzzles, side quests, and secrets to find that it is one of the best games you can buy for your money.
The only problem I have with all Final Fantasy games is that after many hours of repeated battling to train your characters to a high level it can get repetitive. If you have a short attention span you will probably not have the patience to finish (or appreciate any of these games)

The story for Final Fantasy VII really does get you going, Someone can tell you the Jist of the game, but there is so much going on, each character has their own story to tell. But of course the main story actually revolves around Cloud, Areis and Sephiroth. Although a lot of guys like it because of Tifa's huge and over exaggerated cleavage. Well I can see why ;D

8 times from start to finish, with all the secrets is a bit much really, lol! 8 Times??? that all??? I would LOVE to play that again, but I don't really wanna fork out any more money for PlayStation type products, like all of sony's stuff it is all about style and glamour, where is the actual console??? Anyway getting a little off there. FF7 if it does get re-made it better have the acclaimed "missing bits" that were taken out of the original.
