... And I agree with you about FFX. Looking at it now it would seem that FFX on the Vita is more expensive than both games bundled together on the PS3, that's insane! www.shopto.net/search/?platform=&newsearch=Final+Fantasy+X+HDVery disappointing to see Square treating Vita customers this way, I was really hoping for a cross buy promotion so I could have it on both. To be honest I think Square have the lost the plot in recent years when it comes to the business side of things, they make some very odd decisions. *Cough* Final Fantasy XIV Square-Enix dev's a year later: "Urm yeah to our fan's we are sorry we didn't make the game you wanted, and that we didn't listen to you... here we will correct this by making Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm RebornI too was hoping for some cross-buy action, at least a money off promotion for the alternate format? Buy FFX for PS3 and get xx% off the digital version on PS Vita? I am hoping that somehow they find their way on PS+ in the future, which I very much doubt.

Yeah hitman isn't their flagship franchise though, it be like having ea giving away FIFA or Sims. Won't happen.

It's unlikely, but I wouldn't count it out completely as a few companies have put their flagship franchises on PS+, but then knowing Square, they're more likely to throw into a sale on PSN occasionally.

That's more like it! As we are kinda on that subject, was wondering if I should get FFIV+ the after years on PSP(/Vita) or get it for Wii. I got some Wii store credit thanks to Nintendo's loyalty system, but was thinking I might benifit from PSP version, being portable and everything.

My preference would definitely be for the portable version when it comes to a classic RPG. You're likely to get a lot more out of it as there's a lot more opportunities to play. First time I played Final Fantasy Tactics was on the PSP. Suited it perfectly.

Portable version! I doubt you are going to be playing many games on a home console in a few days time!

Get Final Fantasy IV and the after years seriously do it, I have played every version of this game (my fav old skool FF by far, and the reason I played Paladin in FFXI) and the PSP version is my favorite the high rez sprites and 3D combat effects plus the new CGI vids and finally being able to play the after years not on a mobile phone!! happy days well worth the coin! I loved the DS remake but the PSP is the ultimate version in my opinion!

I am quite surprised you don't already have FFIV? or is it just the after years you are after?

I have got the remake for PS One, somewhere, but after moving a lot of my old PS1 titles have gone all over the shop, I know it is here somewhere probably in storage in the cupboard, and to be honest I would rather pay for the game again then go through all that crap!
It seems I will be getting it on PSP/Vita soon, as I doubt any of my gaming time I have when I am at home, will be on a console now anyway, unless I buy FFXIV for PS3 (which I plan on doing because BT keep blocking me out at peek times).
Anyway back on topic, you said about a load of Vita games coming out soon.. Nothing in there really screams "BUY ME!"

Broken Sword: the Serpent's Curse! Epic I thought they would have stopped making (or remaking what ever the case maybe) point and clicks.

Broken Sword: the Serpent's Curse! Epic I thought they would have stopped making (or remaking what ever the case maybe) point and clicks. Here's the trailer for it: I'm off to New Zealand in March, which entails 48 hours on a plane there and back apparently. So this game will be perfect to play with my partner as she does love a good point and click adventure. Vita also has Machinarium which is very entertaining, but we've already completed that on the PS3.

Looks very nice indeed! I might have to get the Broken Sword game. Available on a Linux too was that at the end? Loving that Linux is starting to become more recognized, then just for the underground developer, or as a web server!
